Jeff
Founder · Greenwich ruck leader
Jeff moved to London from Austin, Texas, in January 2025 and is a proud dad of two. He found rucking in 2022 during a 75 Hard challenge. It became his best stress relief, and carrying the weight he'd lost on his back was a reminder of how far he'd come and a reason to keep going.
When he landed in London, rucking was how he explored his new city. His longest ruck was the GORUCK Kansas City 26.2 on Veterans Day weekend, where he and his cousin finished first as a team. By day he runs Workday programmes.
He started Greenwich Mean Ruckers because community, fitness and mental health belong together, and rucking does all three. New to London, new to exercise, going through a tough patch, or a parent who needs an hour to yourself: there's a place for you. On a Thursday he's as likely to be at the back as the front, because nobody rucks alone.
Co-leaders wanted
We're looking for two or three people to share leading, sweeping and welcoming newcomers. No experience needed, and we'll cover Mental Health First Aid training.
